How both the vaccines are developed ?

Covaxin is an inactivated vaccine prepared on tried and tested platform of dead viruses .

This vaccine is developed by Whole Virion Inactivated Cell derived Technology .

Covesheild has been prepared using the viral vector platform .

This exact mechanism is was used to prepare vaccine for Ebola Virus .

Doses Guidelines :-

There is no difference between these 2 vaccine .

Both of the vaccines require 2 doses, 28 days apart .

Storage Guidelines :-

Stored in the room home temperature of the fridge . .

Which is about 2- 8 degree .

Thus making very suitable to store in Indian conditions.

Efficacy of both vaccines :-

Both have shown good results till now .

According to reports covesheild has effectiveness of about 90% .

And Covaxin has 81% .

These reports have been gound till 3 rd phase trial results .
