1-Indian Spices and Plants:-

     a]Turmeric
 Is a spice that comes from the turmeric plant. It is commonly used in Asian food. You probably know turmeric as the main spice in curry. It has a warm, bitter taste and is frequently used to flavor or color curry powders, mustards, butters, and cheeses. But the root of turmeric is also used widely to make medicine. It contains a yellow-colored chemical called curcumin, which is often used to color foods and cosmetics.
-Turmeric is commonly used for conditions involving pain and inflammation.
-You can put it in the warm milk and can have it in the morning or you can also put it in chai and boil in it to have . 

b]Neem

 Is a natural herb that comes from the neem tree, other names for which include Azadirachta indica and Indian lilac. The extract comes from the seeds of the tree and has many different traditional uses. Neem is known for its pesticidal and insecticidal properties, but people also use it in hair and dental products.
-We can either eat it raw or we can just boil the leaves of neem is water to have .

c]Tulsi-
 
Tulsi (Sanskrit:-Surasa) has been used in Ayurveda and Siddha practices for its supposed treatment of diseases.[12][13] Its benefit is to cure common cold.
– The Basil or Tulsi plant has many medicinal properties. The leaves strengthen the stomach and help in respiratory diseases. … Even healthy persons can chew 12 leaves of basil, twice a day, to prevent stress. It purifies blood and helps prevent several common elements.
-In earlier days it was used to cure respiratory diseases including mainly cold.

d]Cinnamon:-
 
-also called darchini in hindi.
-Is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several tree species from the genus Cinnamomum. Cinnamon is used mainly as an aromatic condiment and flavouring additive in a wide variety of cuisines, sweet and savoury dishes, breakfast cerealssnackfoodstea and traditional foods. The aroma and flavour of cinnamon derive from its essential oil and principal component, cinnamaldehyde, as well as numerous other constituents, including eugenol.
-It has a lot of effects , including anti-inflammatory properties ,has an antioxidant effect,works well with the digestive system,lowers the blood sugar level and also has an anti-diabetic effect.
-Add it in making food by frying it and thus having all the effects . 

e]Garlic:-

-Garlic is a plant in the Allium (onion) family.It is closely related to onions, shallots and leeks. Each segment of a garlic bulb is called a clove. There are about 10–20 cloves in a single bulb, give or take.Garlic grows in many parts of the world and is a popular ingredient in cooking due to its strong smell and delicious taste.However, throughout ancient history, the main use of garlic was for its health and medicinal properties .
-can be taken in the diet cooked as it has been an good agent against flu and cold,also has medicinal effect to lower the blood pressure as well as cholesterol.
